As we all know our town Medford is growing and a lot of people are moving here from all over and we thought of everyone in our industry coming together to and putting this event together to showcase our work and bring something new that you only see in the bigger cities. I was born in Ashland and have lived in southern Oregon my whole life, and I love this area because of its outdoors and the great community that is involved in helping each other grow. My why is my family, and kids. They are full of love and I want to better myself to show them what great things you can become. I am passionate about this career I chose because their is so much creativity and skill involved and as barbers it’s important to stay updated on trends and building relationships with our clients. As barbers we really do impact our clients because we can give them a safe place to talk we are like a personal counselor and we give them confidence when they get a haircut weather it’s for a date, for a wedding, or job interview. Theirs a special moment when you are done cutting their hair and you turn them around to reveal their transformation and as soon as they see it that facial expression of happiness with a smile on their face makes my day. I’ve been barbering for 5 years professionally and before that I was doing it on the side for friends and family and what got me into picking up the clippers was I was tired of the haircuts my dad use to give me and having to wear a hat the next day to school so I decided to take action and learn how to cut hair and fell in love with it.
